[On my Mind] Go Juan Montoya! Nice Job Justin Wilson! Horray for Nicky Hayden!

As you can tell from from above, today was a day chock full of racing. First, I watched the GP2 sprint race, Olivier Pla won that one. In F1, Juan Pablo Montoya finally gets the monkey off his back by winning the British GP thanks to a brilliant first lap coming from 3rd to 1st in 3 turns, not an easy task in an F1 car. (Full Results at RacingInfo.tk) The Champ Car race was exciting in Toronto as always. Paul Tracy raced with 1/2 a front wing, only to run out of fuel during a full course caution. O.O Justin Wilson sneaked past Oriol Servia with a handful of laps to go to win that one under the yellow flag due to a crapload of accidents. The most serious being the last one in which A.J. Allmendinger (sux having that last name….all men dinger…..ROFL) hit the wall, got launched into the tire barriers, and then get run over by Mario Dominguez. (Full Results at RacingInfo.tk) After all that was over with, I took a break by going out to buy Dragon BBQ Express for lunch. Their fried rice was delicious! Then it was MotoGP at Laguna Seca, for the first time in 11 years! Nicky Hayden got his first MotoGP win at him home track followed by Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi. The last thing on the schedule for today was the Non Athletic Sport for Crazy Ass Rednecks, better known as NASCAR. Didn’t really pay much attention to the 7,500 tanks rolling around in circles, but that redneck Earnhardht won. Woohoo….Til next time, later…
