IKEA

I don’t normally post much, but I just got something stuck in my mind I just want to let out. Is it just me, or does the IKEA store in East Palo Alto look a lot like an airport. Here’s why I think so:

1. Theres that two story parking garage that looks very airportish.
2. When you enter, you see the Handicap parking spaces across the entrance hallway. That space looks a lot like an airport drop off zone.
3. Upstairs, where the restaurant is, when you look outside, again you see this roadway that looks like a pick up/drop off zone of an airport.
4. The darn thing is a big blue box, much like prefab airports in small towns.
5. When you leave the parking garage, theres about 5 lanes where you exit out of. In the middle is a rather wide median, possible for a paid parking booth?
